2 Years: Growth

My little boy is growing up. I'm overwhelmed with pride and simultaneously heartbroken.

9 Weeks | 2 Years: Fenway Revisited and Lela Photo

It pays to be cute.

I took August to Fenway again. We were high up in the stands, half in the rain, on the third base side, just below the private suites. A guy comes down in the 7th inning and hands me two tickets to the suites above, tells me to take my boy up there, warm him up, give him a sausage and an ice cream.

So... there you go. Not sure that would have happened if August weren't so damn cute. Photos of us in our great seats / suite.

9 Weeks | 2 Years: Eyes Revisited

When August was 4 months old I posted this post about how his eyes were changing. Now I'm adding Lela's eye to the photo. Probably a bit early, as they continue to lighten, but I'm convinced they're going blue, rather than green. That's Lela at the bottom. Daddy, Mommy, August (at 4 months), Lela (at 8 weeks).

Actually, Mary has done really well, trading August's used boy-stuff for new both new and used girl stuff (there's a cool site that helps you do this). But you can't win 'em all!
