2 Years: Success!

So we're very proud today. August has been accepted into the school we like. It's a bit embarrassing to be embroiled in the world of competitive admissions processes so early, but that's life in the big city. In truth, we weren't surprised—for a number of reasons. One is that he aced his little interview (they call it a group session or something like that, but really it's an interview w/ 3-4 kids, simultaneously). I was the one who took him. I knew it was going well right away because he immediately engaged with the instructors (who seemed charmed by him, as most do). But I thought maybe he sealed the deal when he grabbed the toy cow out of the barn, pointed to the udders and said "milk".

So we're very happy about it, and way too proud given that he's TWO!
