I blogged too soon. It turns out the soreness from vaccinations in the kid's thighs was a bit delayed. He's been really sad about it, periodically, all afternoon and into this evening. Evidence:
Our doc told us to give Lehua a dose of infant tylenol half an hour before her shots. She didn't have any residual effects, so maybe it helped.
I cried when Lehua got her first shots. Pete couldn't watch and had to stand on the other side of the room. She screamed so loud it made my ears ring. When we left, all the nurses out in the hall said they heard her screaming all through the office.
